Zinc | InVision promotes seven hospitality brands in Vietnam

Zinc | InVision Hospitality is promoting seven hotel and hospitality brands to tourism investors and investment funds in the city.
Those brands are Zinc City, Glow Studios, Zinc Edge, Zinc Journey, Zinc Living, Soma and Touch by Zinc. Each of them caters to a particular market segment such as Soma that focuses on luxury resorts, Zinc Living on long-stay and residential living, and Zinc Journey on heritage travel.
Kevin J Beauvais, CEO of Zinc | InVision Hospitality, told the Daily at a luncheon in HCMC on Monday that at the beginning, the company wanted to develop Glow Studios as a hotel and apartment services brand, Zinc City as a “value for money” boutique business hotels brand and Touch by Zinc as a health and wellness destination spa brand in the Vietnam hotel market.

“We not only manage hotel properties but also contribute investment capital to them. We are looking for partners with a long-tern focus,” Beauvais said.According to him, the company’s development plan will receive funding by Z-I Capital Partners, which is an investment fund set up by the Zinc | InVision Hospitality partners and other investors.
‘We have a partner on Tuesday that we working with in the hotel consulting and design area and other client partners in Vietnam. We cannot give you specifics but in the coming 90 days we will announce the details,” he said.
The marketing event in HCMC is one of the activities organized by the company in a road show this month to promote the brands in some Asian markets such as Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong.
Zinc | InVision Hospitality has been developed by Thailand-based InVision Hospitality and Singapore-based Cinnovation | CG. The two announced their partnership to create the new company in Thailand’s Bangkok in the middle of this month.
Zinc | InVision Hospitality is looking to open 30 hotels in Asia by 2013. This year alone, the company will open seven hotels bearing Zinc Studios, Zinc Living, Zinc Journey and Touch by Zinc brands in Thailand, India and Nepal.
Many hotels are planned for other places such as Dubai, China, Malaysia, the Philippines in the next two years.
